A Vision for Redwood City and the Region
World-Class Cancer Research and Care
Our vision for Redwood City is creating an integrated cancer center, co-locating research and patient care across new, specialized facilities. This model is designed to accelerate discovery, advance innovative treatments, and offer new hope to patients and families experiencing the burden of this disease.
Strengthening the Local Economy
We are committed to strengthening the local economy. This updated project will build on Stanford Medicine being one of Redwood City’s largest employers and will create quality jobs from construction to operations, driving positive economic impact throughout the community we are proud to serve.
Sustainable Design
Reflecting our commitment to sustainability, environmentally conscious operations and design principles are integrated throughout the cancer center, building upon the legacy of our award-winning sustainability commitments to support both human and environmental health.
